TD Bank New Branded Event Space and Upscale Gathering Place
For many years, Holt Experiential provided portable exhibit displays and furniture for TD Bank’s location in the Plaza Suites for the High Point Furniture Market. Their booth area promoted TD Bank’s retail products and allowed for business meetings to occur with current and prospective clients. In 2021, TD Bank decided to lease space for a showroom in the new Furniture First building that would elevate their approach in welcoming guests for the High Point Furniture Market.
TD Bank envisioned their showroom as a sophisticated gathering place for scheduled events featuring catered food, bar drinks, and even live music performances in a space more like a party event space than a showroom. They wanted a permanent design that would welcome clients, prospects, and the community to experience their brand in a new and enduring way.
“Partnering with Holt was a great experience,” said Christopher P. Guido – Head of TD Owned Brands, Sponsorships and Emerging Opportunities – TD Retail Card Services.
“From the beginning, they diligently listened to what we were envisioning for our High Point Showroom inside the new Furniture First building. The Holt team created a digital rendering that allowed us to see our space in virtual reality before we finalized the design.”
“Holt’s approach to project management, and the efficiencies that went along with their approach, ensured that we stayed under budget while creating a space that truly captured our vision. Our new Showroom will allow us to host and meet with our existing and future partners going forward in an environment that demonstrates our commitment to the High Point Furniture Market.”
Elements in this new permanent showroom design included:
- A 25-foot wrap around bar with quartz countertops, dimensional green ceramic tile, elegant hanging lights and LED underlighting
- Serving wall for light hospitality
- A branded TD Bank wall element
- A branded TD Bank pool table
- A living room area for visitor comfort and community
- A conference room for private conversations and presentations
- Multiple large TV monitors playing professional and college sports games, plus TD Bank looping brand videos
- Shelving around two columns for branded TD Bank giveaways and plants
- Outdoor patio & furniture for the showroom balcony
While Holt designed the scope of work to be completed for the showroom, they also worked closely with the building contractor and architect to allow for a smooth installation.
TD Bank provided all of the non-fixed furniture, such as chairs, stools, couches, rugs and pool table, plus the hanging lights and fans.
Visitors to this new showroom experience TD Bank at a much higher level, creating greater emotional bonds and stronger feelings of attachment with their brand.
