Gilbarco Veeder-Root RTC 2019
For the second year in a row, Gilbarco asked Holt Experiential to help brand their meeting space at their annual Retail Technology Conference. This was held in a new venue from the previous year which required re-examining the facility layout, available meeting spaces, and general sight lines in the convention center concourses.
Similar to their 2018 RFTC conference, Holt helped extend the event brand through the event space in three zones:
- Zone One – Corporate Event Welcome + Registration Area – filled with themed fabric graphic structures, monitor stands, branded registration counters, and printed vinyl glass graphics.
- Zone Two – Convention Center Concourse Areas – concourse hallways, seating areas, and the main entrance to the ballroom were branded with themed fabric graphic structures, stand-alone agenda + key speaker information graphics, and printed vinyl glass graphics.
- Zone 3 – Trade Show + Presentation Ballroom – The RFT Conference also included a trade show floor, for which Holt built a 20 x 30 exhibit that combined the event brand look with Gilbarco’s latest retail fuel dispensers and point-of-sale-devices, allowing for software demonstration. A raised stage was erected in the presentation area at the head of the ballroom and branded with a 20-foot wide printed fabric back wall, two 16-foot tall printed fabric backlit towers to the left and right sides, and a branded counter for use by the featured speakers. All the stage assets incorporated some form of LED lighting to create a more dramatic presentation.
While there were similar needs as in 2018 for stage exhibits, reception, sponsor listings, and product displays, all graphics were redesigned to incorporate the 2019 event theme of “Innovation Starts Here.”
