New Truist Brand Connects Company Culture to Successful Past

Holt Experiential designed, fabricated, and installed two Truist Heritage Centers, in Wilson, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia.

Truist intended for these new museums to open simultaneously with the launch of their new Truist brand. The museum content reveals to visitors how the bank’s long success and future vision are powered by the same company culture and drive.

In dramatic spaces with a modern aesthetic that tells the Truist story, the Heritage Centers included several distinct zones that displayed content about:

Early Days – The journey from BB&T to Truist
Post War Prosperity – conditions and innovations after World War II
Growth & Innovation under the new era of legalized interstate banking
Truist giving back to the community
Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
Truist in the future

The corporate museums included many media to tell the story:

Graphics and custom millwork
RFID and touch screen Interactives that Holt created
Physical brand artifacts and historical items like bank ledgers, money bags, old currency, and business signage, held in custom display cases
Stories in text telling the company history
Photographs, including founders’ photos
Historical timelines
Videos of past company leaders

Visitors to these Truist Heritage Centers come away with a greater sense of the company’s foundations, innovations, strengths, values, and direction.
